*Castle Eltz in the morning mist*
When I arrived at Castle Eltz early in the morning of mid-November last year, she was initially out of sight due to dense fog. It was not until eight o'clock that this unique structure became visible. I think it was not the last time that I'm going to take pictures there or just walk over.
Als ich letztes Jahr Mitte November früh morgens bei der Burg Eltz ankam war sie zunächst wegen dichten Nebels nicht zu sehen. Erst gegen acht Uhr wurde dieses einzigartige Bauwerk sichtbar. Ich denke, es war nicht das letzte Mal, dass ich dort zum fotografieren oder einfach nur zum wandern vorbei schauen werde.

Quirky formations on the southern bank of Mono Lake in the evening light. These are travertine deposits that had formed under water before the water level dropped by around 20 meters from around 1941.
Skurrile Gebilde am südlichen Ufer des Mono Lake im Abendlicht. Es sind Ablagerungen aus Travertin, die sich unter Wasser gebildet hatten, bevor der Seespiegel durch Wasserentnahme ab ca. 1941 um rund 20 Meter gesunken ist.
