This afternoon our niece came home from
the hospital diagnosed with Covid-19 !
She lives right here with us. No# 1 wife
hasn't been feeling to good lately either .
Fell asleep at mid-night-thirty and woke
back up at 3:10AM, it's 5:05AM right now.
If no# 1 doesn't feel any better today
she'll have to go get checked out !
Obviously the run to the mud cobra
field has been cancelled for right now.
The boiling heat has been devastating.
Going out to the temple is also on hold.
In-fact looks like most everything is on
hold until I can figure a way out of this.
We've had "all" our Pfizer covid shots.
FYI
Pumpkin Pie The Princess is doing better.
The Monkey is staying real close to me.
If I move he moves, If I don't move he
doesn't move either. Mama's bigger.
Mr Bone is bonier, The Zoomer is
hanging out in the shade a lot ;-)
As for this photo. It was taken out at the dog palace.
Mr Little Larry The Pipsqueak & Ms Molly can be seen.

Made it home with Pumpkin around 5:30PM.
And that my friends made for a very long day.
As expected the dog clinic was packed
after being closed on Wednesday ;-0-
Finally we got her in to see the doctor and
he immediately gave her a pain injection
and sent her to his personal surgery
room where she was sliced open.
Took some time to drain all the infection
which was real important being close
to her eye an so close to her brain.
We left the clinic around 3:35PM and
were instructed to come back at
5:PM and pick her up. She was
sent home with a bunch of
medications to fight any
and all infections !
FYI-
(we were there early in the morning)
In this photo Pumpkin Pie is way to
stoned to attempt even standing !
She did eat good which is a positive sign.
Tomorrow she will begin on all the pills
and injections needed to ward off any
infection over the next few days or
even as long as a week if needed.
This also means Pumpkin can not go
play in the mud cobra field 4 awhile.
No# 1 said absolutely not on that plan !
So maybe The Zoomer will get to go ;-)
We were expecting the vet bill but we also
were not expecting the size of the bill ! !
But, no-matter it's all about saving her.
We aren't out of the woods yet but
what we did sure eased her pain
and suffering, which is good ;-)-
It very well could have saved her
eye, possibly even her life too !
OK, we are really burned out so

Wednesday, April 24 2024.
Our plans to be at the temple this
morning have gone sideways on us.
The boiling tropical heat has taken
it's toll on both no# 1 and on myself.
Maybe if we were younger it wouldn't
be such a problem, but, we're old now.
Muscle Nun has been taken back home
and has a new oxygen tank to help her.
As for now we are just down for the count.
Maybe in a day or two we'll have our 2nd wind.

That's right, Mr Boney who's a legend in his own time.
A jungle warrior and the top snake dog around here.
Word came down through the grape vine that
no# 1 and I maybe taken out to the temple in
a few days. At that time all the dogs will
receive their monthly injections too.
Muscle Nun, well as of this morning
she's back in the local hospital and
at this time we have no other word
on what condition her condition's
in. No# 1 is in constant phone
contact with nurse nun.
Yesterday right here at our place
we hit 108 F, the humidity's 50 %.
This is really taxing all of us ;-(-

OK, we made it over to the mud cobra field
slightly after 6:AM. And it was still 87 F ;-0-
Dogs went bananas of course,
which is to be expected ;-)-
One thing I noticed as the palm oil bows
slashed across my upper torso is there
was no morning dew ? Reached down
and felt the grass and it too was dry !
Like Dry As A Bone kind of dry !
Low 100's day time, high 80's
all during the night time.
Also Pumpkin Pies eye has started to
dry up as well. That's 9 days sense
she was bitten, leaving a slight
brick red scar with a piece
of meat missing ;-0---
In this photo the adults are ready to go home.
The Monkey, who is a child wants to continue
racing and playing while going Mach 1 or 2 ;-)
I want to go home too. High heat/humidity
is taking it's toll on my old bones lately ;-(
No# 1 wife is herding her ducks around.
The hooligans have been bathed, fed,
put to bed, and I will be there soon 2.
8:30AM and it's already 92 F.
April is one of our hottest
months of the year ! ! !
