Beside the Central Station, Amsterdam like Rotterdam did have stub end stations (terminus) as well. Coincidental also the line towards Utrecht; station ‘Weesperpoort’ (gateway into the direction of Weesp). The lines into the Haarlemmermeer Polder (reclaimed land) and their building here seen on an image taken in 1982 long after the last train departed. These days the beginning of Amsterdam’s heritage line on part of the railway infrastructure towards Amstelveen and Bovenkerk.
