The end of the day: D-loco 4553 (General Electric - 1995) with one of the night trains (different destinations) going from Bangkok to the South of Thailand has just arrived in Hua Hin for a brief stop. Local vendors try to sell their merchandise to patient passengers with a night on rail ahead while a tourist try to catch the scene on his camera. The architecture of the station building is unique and only can been seen here. The pavilion next to it is the Royal waiting room.

Trees could be marvellous and so does the train. Diesel Electric locomotive 4030 (made by General Electric USA - 1963/65) with train Nº 99 (The local from Nakhon Sawan) is put on the side track awaiting train Express Nº 6 that won’t stop here and on full speed shall pass but not after picking up the token as described elsewhere in this miniseries but first of all the token got in Chiang Mai before depart leaving behind. The station assistant waits at the pole and rushes to the machine to get another token released and than running again to the driver of train 99. It sounds old fashioned and by the way: it is but gives a colourful meaning on Thai Railways.
