July 1st. Although it was macro last week, I was going for the classic apple stem for centre point. Guess who wanted to be the centre of attention. I love the way his whiskers brushed the apple in this shot, and it looked so good with a bit of processing. Not the shot I was going for but I like it.

July 2nd. Not a hugely special photo but an important one. This is my beloved V reg golf cabriolet (soft top). Today was the last day I drove it. Tomorrow it is being part exchanged for a sensible mummy car. A 3 door, 5 seater soft top in Cornwall (where rain is more predictable than sun) was never a sensible car. Between my loony driving and the huge teenagers climbing in and out of the back, we have killed it beyond re saleable. So tomorrow my hubby is driving it up country to part ex it on a 7seater family car.
This is the back badge - the centre point of the boot.

July 3rd. Combining the two themes (centre point and industrial). I snuck back into the barn - so many opportunities for good shots in there! I think this is part of an old tractor. I tried it in mono, but I liked the chaos of colour behind it. i did have some lighter shots, but i quite like the way it emerges from the gloom - it's like that in the barn!

July 4th. The centre point of most sailing ships is the mast. We have this sweet little wooden boat and today it went for a sail outside!
