After flowering, the lily takes on this rather interesting 'Punk' look. This is a composite image of B&W super-imposed on colour and then using a layer mask to highlight the stem and flower head.

Hearing a chain saw and shredder in use I walked towards the sound. The man up the tree has just cut through the top part and it is falling. Being one to capture the indecisive moment, I got a shot just before it fell and, a moment later, nearing the ground 😟

It is only 9 weeks from yesterday until we fly out for the UK again. It is our 9th trip and although we have been many times, there are still so many places on my list of places to see. We will be revisiting a lot of our favourite places as well.

My hands seem to have improved a little over the last couple of days, but it still seems one step forward and two steps backwards. I am losing hope that I will be able to carry my Canon gear around which is quite a dilemna for me to take in, but trying to stay positive.
