It was such a thrill getting to see these magnificent animals so up close and personal. While seeing them was anything but cliche, the snacking on bamboo was a pretty cool cliche.

The columns in the background were originally part of the US Capitol's East Portico, but they had to be removed when an addition was built in 1958. They were installed here in 1984.
