These two really love each other and have since the first minute they ever saw each other.

A beautiful 1928 Pierce Arrow limousine clock, amid many leather bound books and other interesting things inhabiting this gorgeous 1830's desk. There were usually two of these limousine clocks - one attached to each of the rear doors in the back seat of a plush limousine. The two round lids were the tops of perfume (for the ladies) and cologne (for the men) so they could freshen up, if they wanted. This desk was made by my great, great grandfather.

Elmer Grey (1872 - 1963) was an American architect and artist based in Pasadena, California. Grey designed many noted landmarks in Southern California, including the Beverly Hills Hotel, the Huntington Art Gallery, the Pasadena Playhouse, the Wattles Mansion and the Beverly Hills Police Department, which is the extraordinarily beautiful building you are looking at, right now. Police departments aren’t usually thought of as beautiful, but this one is definitely a true work of art, inside and out. It looks as though it could be a museum. Built in 1927.
