This is the crater that is now the only one active. It has grwon a lot since I took this image and is now even visible from the Capital Reykjavik. Amazing how nature acts...

Northern lights from Lofoten islands. It was a huge geomagnetic storm creating this spectacular aurora show. It was just insanely beautiful! For me, it was the first time I saw the northern lights and I have to say It was much better than I expected! This is a truly magical spectacle from mother nature.

I don't know if that is just my imagination but I can see on that picture an aurora in the shape of an eagle landing on the mountain top? Are you seeing that too?

Childers Cove, Sandy Cove and Murane Bay panorama just off the Ocean Road. This location is one I could return to many times in the future both shooting from above and below. I believe one day the cliffs on the right will erode into more 'Apostle' like structures.

Can you imagine this was taken almost an hour after sunset? With a beautiful after glow and a soft layer of fog the atmosphere was really magical here. It was quite dark to the naked eye, but the camera picks up so much light and color during a long exposure, it amazes me every time.

The rock formations of Camel Rock and Rhino Rock on the southernmost tip of South Australia were witness to an amazing dawn during our recent trip based in Mount Gambier for a few nights.
