This pano shot consists of 10 separate images taken in portrait orientation and stitched together in Adobe. At 100% the image is 87"(221cm) wide by 28"(71cm) high.
Taken on our 3d night in Iceland and our first night of a two night stay in Hofn, we used Hofn as our base for going to Vestrahorn.
Here's another true story involving my good mate Paul, we were staying in a large B&B, and the 3 of us (me, Scotty &Paul) had all the first floor, bed room, kitchen, lounge and a very large bathroom , this bathroom nearly became first floor swimming pool, Paul turned on the shower to let it run and left it to get hot (but shower head was left outside cubicle), although still in the bathroom but not near the cubicle, he became aware that something was amiss when he realised warm water was lapping his ankles. Luckily, because of the floor tiles all the water was contained within, but took all the towels to mop it up.

Last minute decision (4.45pm) by my good friend Paul (shutterbug_uk2012) to take some evening/sunset shots in Snowdonia.
Our initial area to photography was Llynnau Mymbyr near Capel Curig, beautiful setting but spoilt by hundreds of tents (well lots) on the far bank which would have taken an age to clone out in photoshop.
Plan 'B' needed, so we decided to go to Llyn Idwal (Ogwen Valley), this shot was taken from the little bridge at the start of the Llyn around 10.30pm.
For info, this is about a steady 30 minute walk from the car park/visitor centre Ogwen Valley.

Our first showing of winter snow yesterday, to a depth of about 1 inch (25mm) which started to thaw by mid morning.
Rowheath Park where this shot is taken is no more than a 5 minute walk from where we live. Really would have liked somebody in a red coat sitting or leaning on the bench, would still have converted it to B&W but colour popped the coat. That aside just nice to get out for an hour taking a few shots.
Don't know what type of trees produce the very twisted trunks but there are several clumps of them in the park.

To start with, I do not have a clue to what this flower is, hence the title.
The wife had a load of flowers bought her for her birthday and a bunch of these caught my eye, so today with the wife out with a friend, I grabbed a pair of scissors and snipped this one.
This is a stacked image of 11 shots and lit by a small table lamp(enlarge view to see detail). All RAW images were initially processed in Lightroom and finished in Adobe Photoshop.
This is probably only the 3rd or 4th stacked image I've done.
