Chester (left) and Jack are the elder male goats at Belmont Audubon Habitat. It's heartwarming to see them expressing their friendship as Chester rubs his head on a willing Jack. I was looking after them today inside the goat pavilion, a former greenhouse at an old estate outside Boston.

Chester (left) was feeling his oats today, engaging in gentle horseplay with all comers. Scarlett is never one to back down, so she stood her ground against Chester's light headbutting. He thinks he's hot stuff! That's Linus watching in the background. He's pretty chill. I was tending to the seven goats at Belmont Audubon Habitat, where they're used to keep the vegetation in check around the 88-acre property.
