Abandoned..
As you drive up Highway 10 just south of Caledon, there are so many beautiful old farmhouses and barns falling into a state of decay... it is very sad to see the demise of so many lovely old structures. Obviously there is no plan to preserve the heritage in the area. as developers are buying up0 the land and covering them witty thousands of homes and small shopping centers. . This was another century farmhouse which has been abandoned for several years now and sadly there isn't much of the original structure left..

Spring Buds...
The Japanese sakura cherry trees are in full bloom, there are still a few buds ready to bloom but most of the trees are covered in white and pink blossoms.

Dark Masked Stranger...
It has been years since the Covid pandemic, yet we still see many people in masks and I am not sure it it is paranoia or if they are just overly cautious. It is not for me to judge.

Away For The Season...
A brisk hike in the cold autumn air,. you can feel fall slipping away and winter slowly creeping in; the temperatures over the past two weeks has steadily dropped and today was no exception.
The maintenance staff at the park have already winter preparations under way; they have stacked picnic tables and dragged all the canoes off to the back of the shed for winter storage.
