Lineup: Emma Ahlberg (fiddle), Daniel Ek (harp guitar), Niklas Roswall (nyckelharpa/moraharpa).
Niklas Roswall is from Skåne in southern Sweden and Emma Ahlberg and Daniel Ek from Medelpad in northern Sweden. They play a mixture of traditional tunes and their own compositions. As wel as the modern Nyckelharpa, Roswall plays a Moraharpa based on an illustration of an early form of the keyed fiddle. Ek plays a version of the Harp Guitar specially built for him. Roswall and Ek were in the group Ranarim, who I saw (before Ek joined) at the 2007 Celtic Connections Festival Club. I also saw Roswall in a duo with Ian Carr at the 2005 Norwich Festival of European & Celtic Music & Dance.
