Gerald French is part of one of the famous New Orleans musical families (other members include Albert “Papa”, Goerge and Bob). The Original Tuxedo Orchestra / Jazz Band dates back to 1910. I saw the band, then led by Bob French (and with many of the same musicians), in 2011. Later that yearr Gerald took over the leadership from his uncle. I have taken photos of French with several other bands (the Maryland Jazz Band of Cologne, Young Tuxedo Brass Band, Topsy Chapman & Solid Harmony, George French & the New Orleans Storyville Jazz Band), see:
