Many of the tunes played at this gig were from John Scofield's 2016 homage to Country Music “Country for Old Men”, including versions of songs performed by George Jones, Hank Williams and Kenny Rogers. This was the tenth time I have seen Scofield live, nine as leader including several Trios, the Uberjam Band and the Piety Street Band, The only time I have taken photos before was a duo with Jon Cleary three years ago (
