Kintsugi ("golden joinery") is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. As a philosophy, it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise.

It's the darker part, the scariest one.
The mistery, the invisible, the undefined, it's the persecuted side of everything.
But how can we know, how can we be certain that there is evil in the dark? I saw the darkness, the shadow, the hidden face of it and I found beauty. No evil to detect, only fragile things, fears that are ashamed of the light. Take my hand and follow me in the dark, I'll show you what's wonderful in it.

Inspiration for this image comes from the book "The prophecy of the Curandera" by Hernán Huarache Mamani. I loved the book so much and I also found a lot of things that I found very close to my personal and spiritual research. But I also put other cultural references in it.
I decided I want to make one of my greatest dream come true and as I believe that dreams don't happen if you just keep at staring at them, I will go forward and let it happen.
So, this image will be available as a limited edition of only 15 copies, size 40x60cm, printed on fine art Hahnemühle paper with digigraphie sytem, signed and numbered at a cost of 200€ until October 11.
