The top of a tree at Timberline Lodge. This is another series I am slowly working on, and I think I can see another book coming out of this at some point. I know I definitely want to do a book on forests and trees, I am just not sure what the scope of the material included will be. Maybe I will make a portfolio-style book of just these images.

Anyway, close to white out conditions on the mountain this day. That white background though is actually a field of snow behind the tree, so even though it is all white, that white is actually something and not just blown out sky.
