David Reamer, photographer and chef, and Jennifer kindly demonstrating for the camera another moment in my "Once in a Blue Moon" series. We get so many interesting (I mean that in the best possible way) customers through our store, it only seems natural to photograph them. David is a chef at some restaurant whose name eludes me, and is a damned fine photographer. He put together a project last year where he shot timeless images (i.e. photos with no visible clues when they were taken) and then stained them with coffee and tea, ran them through the washer and dryer, nailed them to the roof of his house for a week, folded one up and carried it in his walled, stuck another between his mattress, all in order to artificially age them, with the purpose being that they would resemble the many discarded photographs one can find in various antique stores. And it worked beautifully. They are currently hanging, in another restaurant whose name escapes me, but we hope to have them up in Blue Moon within the next couple of months. I will post any new info I have on that as I learn it.

And of course, cannot overlook Jennifer, who thanks to the fact that this image was shot on a Hasselblad SWC is a tad distorted. Jennifer is quite the prolific photographer herself, and can be easily found here on Flickr. I also noted the Pi shirt she is wearing, odd coincidence considering the last photo I posted from inside the store. Thanks guys, great photo!

Another in my series of "Once in a Blue Moon" portraits. This customer had the first 100 digits of Pi tattooed up his arm and shoulder. For those curious I only saw the first 73 of them, though he did offer to remove his shirt right there in the store. We really do have one of the most interesting, and coolest, customer bases. Now too bad I cannot remember which camera I was shooting that day. Think this was the Leica M3...

If you are interested in pricing for my images, or just plain curious, more info can be found at my website: www.zebandrews.com

Another great customer shot from Blue Moon Camera. The shirt may say it all, but the sunglasses and dogtags help a lot too.
