My list of favorite things about the ocean is as long as the many days of my life I have spent there. So here is another entry.
Those moments when low, overhanging clouds reflect onto the choppy surface of the nearby ocean. But rather than looking like a reflection, they end up looking more like an anti-shadow. I love seeing the shadows of clouds play across ocean waters as well, but these light, diffuse reflections mirroring the size and rough shape of the clouds passing by fascinate me a bit more, probably because I do not see them quite as often.
