Molen De Paauw is een windmolen in Nauerna, gemeente Zaanstad. De oorspronkelijke molen werd in 1669 gebouwd als oliemolen. De Paauw is een typisch Zaanse stellingmolen, geheel opgetrokken in hout. De molenschuur waarop de molen zich bevond, diende deels als molenaarswoning. De molen is in 2015 herbouwd en de nog bestaande molenschuur is toen hersteld.

The mill shed on which the mill was located, partly served as a miller's house. The mill was rebuilt in 2015 and the existing mill shed was then restored.

In Westzaan is een nieuwe molen gebouwd, op de plaats waar tot 1916 een molen met dezelfde naam heeft gestaan. De vlucht van deze karakteristieke Zaanse industriemolen is 16 meter, terwijl de stelling op 6 meter hoogte is geplaatst.

Het biljet van één pond werd voor het eerst uitgegeven door de Bank of England in 1797 en werd gedrukt tot 1984. Het biljet werd in 1988 ingetrokken ten gunste van de munt van één pond. De woorden "Ik beloof aan toonder op verzoek de som van ... pond te betalen" dateert van lang geleden, toen deze bankbiljetten deposito's goud vertegenwoordigden. Toen kon de houder één van deze bankbiljetten inwisselen voor goud van dezelfde waarde.
