At Takya Restaurant, we had fig & pomegranate Salad, kabuli rice with chicken (chicken with local spices and orange peel served with saffron basmati rice) and sayadia rice with fish (pan-seared hamour with rice with caramelized onions, local fragrant spices, onion, tamarind and sauteed pine nuts). Oh, and cheesecake. QUITE the meal! :-D

For those of us 'forced' to fly budget most of the time, nice to get decent lunch included on a short-haul. This one is hummus, quinoa, and red beet mutabal (eggplant/olive oil paste) with warm Arabic bread.
