From the 58th floor of the Aon building. When I first visited Chicago in high school, the tallest building in town was the Prudential Building--41 stories high. We went to the observation deck. The building still stands, but is now dwarfed by this tower--and more than 30 other buildings that are taller than the old Prudential Building.

The building at 300 N LaSalle is a certified gold LEED development. Something reminded me of that fact when I saw in the late afternoon light.
