Bill had seen this lovely assemblage of stuffed bears but didn't have any idea who made it. We asked the mail carrier and she told us it was George Harvala, who then drove up to pick up his mail. George explained that he started it in honor of his wife, who died last October, but had always said that tree with the big horizontal branch would be perfect for a swing. The neighbors then started contributing as well. Soon the sign will say the bears are in hibernation for the winter.
