The Chicago Cultural Center was one of the central staging grounds for Looptopia. Though I didn't make it to the candle light yoga at midnight, or the 4:30 a.m. flashlight tour, I did stroll through several of the exhibits. This one is from the current exhibit of early American samplers. It's also the obligatory cemetery stop for Kati.

Random guys on State Street, happy to pose for a photo. Told me to put it up on the internet, in fact.

This photo notwithstanding, it seemed to generally be a pretty sober, though festive, crowd. Always helps to have a festival that omits the beer tents.
