Yup, it's time for the playoffs once again! I took a photo of Jasper last year and really wanted one of Misty this time around. I wasn't sure she'd be up for it, but surprisingly she was a really good sport and even let me balance the helmet on her for a brief second! It was a totally different experience than with Jasper last year, and this photo has a complete different feel which I like.
We're gearing up for a very tough game today. Go Seahawks!!

I originally had another photo that I was going to post this week, but on Friday I spotted this beautiful photo tribute at one of our favorite cafes. It was a perfect expression of the sadness I was feeling on this Inauguration Day...I knew I had to photography it and came back the next day with Misty. It wasn't the easiest outing for Misty on this day and she was really not feeling it, so I had to take what I can in a very quick snap.
I'm really going to miss them...

Being on the other side of the camera always feels awkward, but I liked how this one turned out, so I'll post it for this week's challenge. As my dogs are well into their golden years, I'm thankful for these moments and hope that we can keep it going for a long time to come...

When Misty was younger, she used to shred these stuffed toys within minutes. Now, she has very little interest in them and we have a collection of them in a toy crate, undisturbed. Still, when she's feeling extra happy (usually after a meal), she'll go and drag one out and play with it for a couple of minutes before tiring out and dozing off. :) I had to be very quiet and sneak behind the dining table to get this shot.
