I decided to do this year long project mainly because I'm having a really hard time moving forward and I'm hoping that it'll help me to be able to look at her photos once again and to remember back all the good times that we had.
This was the beginning, taken the first week after she came home. She was born in March 2004, and we pretty much fell in love with her the moment we saw her at the local shelter in June. There were several puppies that day in the pen (including her brother who looked just like her, only with shorter legs), but she was the one that came to us, made eye contact and wanted to be lifted up.
