On our way to the Chilean base of Bernardo O'Higgins. We had hoped to visit and see just what life was all about at a year round base, but the ice had a different plan for us. As we approached we soon realized that getting through this ice was not an option, and we immediately made our way towards King George Island and the Arctowski Polish base located there.
