Some of you will be aware that this image was selected as one of the 12 finalists from over 42,000 entries for this year's BBC Countryfile photographic competition. On the programme a couple of weeks ago it was announced that my entry had been unanimously selected by the judges as their favourite!
'Dune Drifter' will be the June photo on the BBC Countryfile 2020 calendar. Last year the calendars sold raised more than £2.4 million for BBC Children in Need charity and a minimum of £4.50 from the sale of each 2020 calendar will be donated to the BBC Children in Need Appeal. Many thanks to those of you that voted and those who buy the calendar. If you are feeling a sense of deja view, I did post this image a year ago but had to temporarily remove it to comply with the competition rules. So here is the return of the Luskentyre Pony!
