The Forest Garden was a bit of a flop this year. However, I did find that Begonias loved growing in the cracks of the rock formations.
Vinca and Ajuga survived the summer and I will see if those transplants make it to spring.
Any of the shade seeds I planted didn't do well, it may be the seeds or the drought and heat we had.
It really has been a fun experiment.
Come early spring next year I will have a better idea of what grows in the soil below Buckthorn trees.
I am working on clearing out some more of them this fall to bring in some light.
