So many people love Fall for the change of colors.
I would love it even more if I could spend all my time just watching nature change things up with colors.

The Forest Garden was a bit of a flop this year. However, I did find that Begonias loved growing in the cracks of the rock formations.
Vinca and Ajuga survived the summer and I will see if those transplants make it to spring.

Any of the shade seeds I planted didn't do well, it may be the seeds or the drought and heat we had.

It really has been a fun experiment.
Come early spring next year I will have a better idea of what grows in the soil below Buckthorn trees.
I am working on clearing out some more of them this fall to bring in some light.

Sometimes and imagined world is better than the very world we live in.

Infrared shot with no filter on a Full Spectrum camera.
Using the color wheel on DxO's Photolab I adjusted the hues of the trees.
I increased some contrast and adjusted the gravel road to be a bit less saturated.

The colors are not normal of course, but who said they had to be?

I have been following these 3 with trail cameras in two different areas of our forest for a little over a year and a half. It has been fun to see them grow.

This was taken just as the sun began to brighten the sky.
Super high ISO, but I was able to 'shoot' them in the fog!
