Taken high above the valley floor, from this viewpoint the extent of the floods can clearly be seen. The two orange rooftops define the causeway that is left taking the coastal road across the waters.
Normally the foreground would show the famous river meanders but they are completely submerged. Lovely evening light adds some warmth to the scene.
Out and about on New Years Day with camera, this was one of the first images taken on a very overcast day down by the River Cuckmere.
I felt it needed a little pop of colour so have used for the first time the sky replacement tool in the recently upgraded Photoshop. Hope you like.
