The old business district slowly decays after being zoned a flood plain. The Licking River flooded at Falmouth in 1997, killing 5 and leaving over 1,000 homeless. The business area never recovered.

No work at this site for years. Now windows are getting broken out and decay is present. Appears to be the tallest building in Falmouth, Kentucky that suffered a devastating flood in 1997 that resulted in the government's flood plain maps getting redrawn.

This trio is growing beside the Helen C Black trail at Cedar Falls in Adams County, Ohio. This native plant is called Trillium Sessile, Wood Lily and Red Trillium. A small plant growing in the rich, damp soil of the Edge of Appalachia's nature preserve.
