When I first visited this waterfall two years ago I absolutely loved it, however I really didn't get to spend any quality time with it on that first trip, not only because of a steady rain that had set in, but there was a bit too much flow on the falls. The trail is located several miles on a forest road, the .3 mile hike to the falls is one of the easier in the Brevard area. After watching the rainfall totals for a couple weeks I knew that the lower flow falls would be a struggle to shoot since there had not been much rain over the previous week. I had a feeling Log Hollow would be at it's best and boy was it as the water just draped over the rocks. We spent quite a bit of time here shooting numerous compositions and just really soaking in the beauty of this gorgeous waterfall high up in the Blue Ridge Mountians.
