I finally got to do some shooting this past Monday when I met up with several members of our photography club at the Krohn Conservatory Butterfly Show in Mt. Adams. Sadly it was some of the worst light to shoot butterflies, with it being overcast they were being pretty shy so I ended up socializing more than shooting. On my way out I heard the waterfall flowing in the tropical plant section of the massive greenhouse and I went over to have a look. I'd been wanting to shoot the falls for years in good light and without foliage obstructions and to my amazement I finally had the opportunity. Even though it's man made it's still pretty and it's been a Cincinnati icon for over 75 years. Well worth the admission to the show, who needs butterflies anyway?
