This was taken just outside of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada on one of the surrounding shorelines. Some of the buildings you see are from the 1700's when German, Swiss and Montbéliardian French immigrants arrived through British colonization plans. The extreme care put into preserving the layout and buildings of 1700's Lunenburg has earned the town UNESCO World Heritage site status, being 1 of 2 towns in North America to have that title.
