I photographed this calla directly in a Vivarium and fell in love with the beauty of this plant blossoming giant flowers.
This is the first one I shot on the spot that pushed me to buy this amazing plant. It begins a new album because I had then fun to photograph many more callas of the same plant and other varieties too directly in my indoor and outdoor studios, always in conditions of natural daylight or candle's light with minimal edit and no retouching.

In this shot, not being in my studio, I have needed to sharpen contrast and darken the background to eliminate other plants in the surrounding area.

A test with my new camera that has potent Fujinon lenses for supermacros. Still exercizing and this is the only acceptable shot I could so far obtain of callas with my new Fuji X-S1.

Shot outdoor in natural daylight. Very interesting how my new lenses emphasizes the texture and veining of the petal, notwithstanding its optical white tone.
