Moraine Lake, Alberta, Canada
This picture was taken on the first night when we got to Canada. According to weather report, we would get cloud or snow weather all the time of our trip except the first night. So, we decided to go there to give it a shot. Just get our Rocky Mountains Milky Way checked:-)
This photo was combined with two shots, one for milky way with f/2.8, ISO 6400, and 20"; another for foreground with f/2.8, ISO 800, and 5 minutes. When I shot foreground, I also used in camera noise reduction for long exposure.

Vermilion Lakes, Banff, Canada
There are many lakes in Vermilion Lakes area, large or small, and you have to find one that works with background and foreground, or whatever you like. It was happened I found this very small lake. It was so quite and I could get reflections like a mirror.
The background mountain is Brokeback Mountain in the movie with the same name.

Few weeks ago, my friends and I went to Canada for an adventure photo tour in Rocky Mountains. Our main goal for this trip is to go Lake O'Hara. Before we go there, we also toured around Banff and Jasper areas. Our guides are from Calgary and they know the areas very well. Although we had done a lot of home work before we went.
