I suppose all of my Iowa Flickr friends who have visited Thomas Mitchel County (Polk) Park have either taken a photograph from this spot, or thought about it. I was in the "thought about it" camp until last week. 😀

I took this almost a month ago when the woodland wildflowers were just starting to bloom. We were out a couple of days ago and now these are coveing the woodland floor in many spots.
