Napali Lookout overlooking Kalalau Valley is my favorite vista in Hawaii. I could stay here forever, but have only seen it like this on one occasion. I've been there 4 times but rain is quite common and most of the time mist shrouds the lookout.

Since rainbows are quite common in Hawaii it wouldn’t be a trip if a person didn’t see a few of them. I only with that I had done this one some justice as it was one of the most brilliant rainbows that I had ever seen. It was one of the most long lasting rainbows that I have ever seen and even the people who worked in the restaurant were running out to take photos of it. It hovered on the horizon and treated almost all the way through breakfast and NO, I didn’t have the loco moco on this morning but the quiche was outstanding. Longhi’s was definitely the place to be for breakfast on this morning.

This is a view looking West toward Molokai and Hawea Point
don’t know the name of the beach located here between Makaluapuna Point and Hawea Point located in Kapalua on the Northwestern part of Maui. The bay is called Oneloa Bay, but I can’t seem to locate the name of the beach. We took our granddaughter here some 14 years ago and she enjoyed playing in the sand and getting “beachy toes” as she referred to it. It’s a surprise find at the end of the path leading to the ocean with Molokai off in the distance.

Missed everyone on Flickr and it’s great to be back and will try to get caught up on all of my comments, but I’ll need some time to do so. Wishing everyone a beautiful day.
