I missed another great day to be on the water as the winds predicted for today never materialized! Yesterday offered up quite a treat as this guy appeared out of nowhere and wanted me to know in no uncertain terms that canoe boy was in H I S bayou! I could tell from his posturing that he was not at ALL amused by my presence! They are one of the most difficult animals to put a lens on in my opinion as their swimming is quite erratic and they can completely disappear in the blink of an eye! After he swam toward me and went under it was as if he had never been there! Taken on Horsepen Bayou!

I might add that we don't see otters on the bayou that often so this is a rare treat!

Am going to be slow to respond to everyone’s photos, but I will get there! It was great to get on the water today and it was a lovely day as well!
