Found my favorite buddy preening on Horsepen Bayou and tried cracking a few jokes but he was not the least bit amused! Actually had a difficult time approaching this Greenie that was preening on Horsepen Bayou but he did stick around long enough for some decent shots!

This Green Heron is quite the successful hunter and once again this is sort of an after the fact capture. It was preening on this stump when it squatted down and launched headlong into the water! Much too quick of a move for my reflexes but a very successful capture to come up with a nice tender morsel for breakfast! Photos were taken on Horsepen Bayou!

Just want to let everyone know that it will be a bit of a hectic week and not sure about comments for the next five days! The new flooring will be installed starting Monday! Will try to drop by for comments, but they may be rather short! Have a great week!

My neighborhood Greenie did a wee bit of posing for me while searching that nice tasty morsel! This was just after he had downed a nice size fish! Photo was taken on Horsepen Bayou!

I just want to say that all of the latest captures have been made with my backup camera the A57. The A77 is sidelined and am not sure I will pursue any further actions with it! Have a new floor being installed next week and don’t have time to deal with it now!
