Dom St. Stephan, Passau, Germany, with a statue of Maximilian I, King of Bavaria, 1806-1826. The Cathedral is obviously Baroque, dating from 1668. The date 1074 refers to an earlier structure, but there has been a church on this site since 730. The exterior also includes a 20th century mural (not shown) commemorating WWI military casualties.

One more exterior view of Dom St. Stephan in Passau, Germany, this time from the back. The dome in the center is the same as in the previous photo, and the one at the right is in the photo before that.

Interior, Dom St. Stephan, Passau. The Baroque cathedral dates from 1668, but the altarpiece is obviously 20th Century, and was installed after WWII. It depicts the stoning of St. Stephen. The locals reportedly hated it, but accepted their bishop’s recommendation to keep it.
