I'm not much of a flower expert, but I could not help but take a picture of this beautiful lily in my back yard. At the time, I only had my Canon 1000D and a 55-250 kit lens. This may have been the sharpest image I ever took with that combination.
I was really drawn in to the detail in the leaves and the incredible amount of pollen on the center portion. Most of the bees were as well and I quickly had to leave the area after taking this shot.
