Before reaching the Island, you'll enjoy wonderful views of Faro Capo Miseno and its lighthouse. From the lighthouse you have Incredible views of Capri, Procida, Ischia, Pocinda, Baia, Pozzouli, Sorrento, Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius. Bout a 20 minute hike to the top. The first historical information on the church of the Madonna delle Grazie dates back to 1500. The heart of the church is the delightful image of the Virgin. It's located on the Scarrupato from the upper part, with the public road from the lower part. From Piazza dei Martiri you can see the former Terra Murata prison. This huge fortress overlooking Terra Murata was built in 1563, later it became Royal Palace of the Bourbons and in the 1815 it was transformed into a military school.
