If there is an advantage to this ongoing disruption, it is in the rich cultural legacy each has left behind. From Venetian palaces, Napoleonic fortresses, Slavic churches, Viennese mansions to socialist sculptures. But most attraction is the
coastline with the remarkable clarity of the water and white pebbly beach. Despite being the fastest rising holiday destination in Europe in the past decade, Croatia still doesn't feel overrun by tourists. There are long sandy and winding beaches too, perfect for lazy days. Croatia is a beautiful country to discover many different landscapes.
Sveti Jakov Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Dubrovnik is located in the eastern part of Dubrovnik Town in the tiny bay offering a distant look to the Old Town and the
island Lokrum.
The Yellow Submarine is a 1966 song by the Beatles, written by Paul McCartney and John Lennon. A fun classic, although intended as a nonsense song for children, Yellow Submarine received various social and political interpretations at the time. ♫ We all live in a yellow submarine, and our friends are all aboard, many more of them live next door, and the band begins to play...♫.....the Submarine Starfish sails from the Old Port of Dubrovnik along the old city walls to the island of Lokrum. It is shaped like a real submarine. It doesn't dive, but the cabin is 1.5m below the sea so just a few steps down you enter the amazing sea world. On the Lokrum island there are many things to do and discover: botanical garden, olive groves, beautiful views, with many peacocks and rabbits. There is also an old Benedictine monastery and a Game of Thrones exhibition. Dubrovnik was the main filming location in Croatia for King's Landing, a fictional town in Game of Thrones.

kustlijn met de opmerkelijke helderheid van het water en het witte kiezelstrand. Ondanks dat het de afgelopen tien jaar de snelst stijgende vakantiebestemming in Europa is, voelt Kroatië zich nog steeds niet overspoeld door toeristen. De
Submarine Starfish vaart vanaf de oude haven van Dubrovnik langs de oude stadsmuren naar het
eiland Lokrum. Het heeft de vorm van een echte onderzeeër. Hij duikt niet, maar de hut is 1,5 m onder de zee zodat je slechts een paar treden lager de verbazingwekkende zeewereld betreedt. Op het Lokrum eiland zijn veel dingen te doen en te ontdekken: botanische tuin, olijfgaarden, prachtige uitzichten, met veel pauwen en konijnen. Er is ook oud Benedictijner klooster en een tentoonstelling over Game of Thrones. Dubrovnik was de belangrijkste filmlocatie in Kroatië voor King's Landing, een fictieve stad in Game of Thrones.
