This shot is very special to me because today, just before the beginning of the total integral lock down in Italy, I visited this great photographer Mr. Gianni B.. He is one of the very best I honor to have been knowing for many years who is capable to hunt for the rarest species of flowers, plants, butterflies, recognize them & shoot them respectfully in beautiful macros as well as landscape SOOC purest photography and photos of fossils, rocks, mineral stones. He is also a great designer, especially of orchid flowers. I consider him a scientist, he's been working for decades for a cloister of friars in the province Bergamo, in Northern pre-Dolomites mountain territory where he had the quietness to read entire libraries of science & nature books. For me he is an alive enciclopaedia. He has guided me for the first time to see the witness of the most ancient people who lived in the former Italy in pre-historic times: the Camuni. After that visit I made when I was a lil child, I came back to see this amazing mountain area more times.
He has also been from his young days very handsome, he was used to wear long long hair, so we all called him "Sandokan", lol.
He has in my regards an additional merit to have succeeded to portrait me since when I was a child. One of the very few photographers who convinced me to pose as I have never wanted to be photographed by anyone.
Today he (finally) reciprocated by accepting to be portrayed by me with his newly adopted cockatiel called "Peppa" on his shoulder (I gave her to him becos I know she is in supergood hands and he is also a naturalist & leaves her free in the home, without caging, just lovely)!
My tribute to M° Gianni B. who has just one defect: he never wanted to share online anywhere his beautiful photography and it's too bad becos his is super! And a purist of perfect non manipulated photography.

"Let's Shoot the Photographers", founded on Dec. 7 2020 that recently celebrated the first 2 years of happy & much active activity.
Marcuzio (real name, "Chocolat" art name) is the most smiling Italian Photographer I've ever come to know, always in a super good mood, respectful of the other own professionality. When he registered as visitor at our exclusive "Vintage Workshop® Trends Forecasts" exhibition at the Stars Palace in Milano, he gently handed us his professional bz card but, knowing it's forbidden to shoot in our events, he never dared to do & yet had fun in visiting & enjoying with enthusiasm the vernissage & the projection of our movie, involving the audience in good vibes & taking part actively. He gladly accepted to be portrayed & to pose with other visitors & friends inside the exhibition setting. In our new album we will share around 10 photos with him. Just brilliant.
Location: Palazzo delle Stelline, Milano in occasion of a Vintage Workshop® exhibition.
