First Bar-winged skimmers I've seen in 2 years - at the wetlands this week! They share habitat and flight season with Painted skimmers (which I recently posted) - both are rare here. Notice the powdery white on the wings & thoracic wolf's ears. 2 immature males that will turn blue @ the wetlands this week, North Georgia 5-2-24
