Contrary to what its name suggests, the city's largest railway station is located in the south, next to the bullring. It was built in the Valencian Art Nouveau style, opened in 1917 and is beautiful both inside and out.

Die Muschel ist mit getrockneten Orangenblüten befüllt, die ich kürzlich aus Valencia mitgebracht habe, die immer noch duften und mich an die vielen Orangenbäume der Stadt erinnern.


The shell is filled with dried orange blossoms that I recently brought from Valencia, which still smell fragrant and remind me of the city's many orange trees.

Vor ein paar Tagen gab es ein heftiges Gewitter mit Hagel. Die Tulpen schienen die Eiskörner noch ganz gut weggesteckt zu haben, doch der anschließende Starkregen brach einige der Blüten ab. Also beschloss ich, sie ins Haus zu holen, damit sie uns wenigstens drinnen weiter erfreuen können.

A few days ago there was a heavy thunderstorm with hail. The tulips seemed to have coped quite well with the grains of ice, but the heavy rain that followed snapped off some of the flowers. So I decided to bring them into the house so that they can at least continue to delight us indoors.
