Riomaggiore in der Provinz La Spezia und das östlichste der fünf Dörfer der Cinque Terre.

The Cinque Terre is a rugged portion of coast on the Italian Riviera. It is in the Liguria region of Italy, to the west of the city of La Spezia. "The Five Lands" is composed of five villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Riomaggiore is a village and comune in the province of La Spezia, situated in a small valley in the Liguria region of Italy. It is the first of the Cinque Terre one meets when travelling north from La Spezia.

Trevi Fountain /
Der Trevi-Brunnen als Touristenmagnet.
Der Trevi-Brunnen, italienisch Fontana di Trevi, ist der populärste und mit rund 26 Meter Höhe und rund 50 Meter Breite größte Brunnen Roms und einer der bekanntesten Brunnen der Welt.
Er wurde 1732 bis 1762 nach einem Entwurf von Nicola Salvi im spätbarocken, im Übergang zum klassizistischen Stil, im Anschluss an den Palazzo Poli erbaut. Er ist eine der wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten Roms.
Zusammen mit Schloss Neuschwanstein und dem Taj Mahal in Indien gehört die Fontana di Trevi in die Erste Liga der am meisten fotografierten Bauwerke der Welt. Menschen fliegen heute um den halben Globus um eine Münze in diesen Brunnen zu werfen.
