Sunday 29th September was a Vegan paradise at the Festival Hub hosted by musician and journalist John Robb. The ‘Vegan Kitchen’ took over the Dining Dome Live Cookery Theatre throughout the day. Some of the leading lights from Manchester’s huge vegan scene took to the stage to showcase some of the most innovative and exciting plant based dishes, products and cookery techniques around. Local vegan luminaries taking part include author of award-winning, best-selling cookery book “Vegan Street Food” Jackie Kearney and Matt Nutter, Development Chef at Foodwell, and Founder and ex owner/head chef of the award-winning Allotment vegan restaurant.
